Balachandar’s B’day Bash By Bharathiraja

The director duo of K Balachandar and Bharathiraja are clearly having a blast on the sets of their first film as actors together, director Thamira’s ‘Rettaisuzhi’. The latest from their side is a surprise birthday celebration that Bharathiraja organized for director KB, who entered 80 last week.
Shooting for the flick in on Tirunelveli, and on the legend’s birthday, Bharathiraja had ordered a cake and made KB cut it. Director K Balachandar, who cut the cake and fed Bharathiraja a slice of it, was so excited by this gesture, and he announced to everybody that this was the first time in his entire life that he had actually cut a cake on his birthday, July 9.
Bharathiraja, in response, explained that director K Balachandar was one of the biggest reasons and inspirations for him to enter cinema. Bharathiraja also fed his favourite director a slice of the cake.
